Dear Fellow Patriots,
I'm forwarding this to all so we can all understand something about the fight we face on two fronts. First there is the "political fight" which of course culminates in the November elections.
The second front or "administrative fight" as I call it happens year around. This summer citizens from Lewis and Cowlitz Counties (SW Washington) stood up the the Department of Ecology's grab for their water rights. At stake were the closing of one or more watersheds and an attempt toward forcing forcing water meters on exempt private wells.
We won the battle this summer when Ecology let their rules deadline expire. But the war isn't over. The next battle to preserve our rights is starting in committees being formed by Ecology. Please read the communication below. If you are in the Lewis or Cowlitz areas and want to have serious impact preserving your water rights, then don't hesitate to sign up. If we don't get our people into the process we will surely loose this battle.
For those who involve themselves in these issues I recommend working with CAPR https://www.proprights.org/ but you can do that later. First sign up and get into the fight. Friday is the deadline so don't delay.
Yours truly,
Ken Morse

PS - remember that when one county or area looses their rights, your rights are soon to follow. "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance" isn't just a catchy phrase...
